Who We Are: The Spacecraft Development Department is a group of innovative engineers, program managers, and technicians developing unique spacecraft solutions for challenging space missions. We design and fabricate custom solutions to explore the boundaries of science or solve complex problems not yet delivered by industry using a variety of payloads. Objectives of this Role: Work in multidisciplinary project teams to support the integration and test of cutting edge spacecraft. Work in integrated project teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware development. Collaborate with engineering team on developing processes and procedures for test. Support R&D and promotional efforts to develop and implement new technologies. Local year-round Student position. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Support spacecraft system integration and test activities to include electrical function tests and environmental tests. Document test activities in accordance with established procedures. Participate in assigned project team meetings. Requirements: Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. 0 years: Hands on experience thru project work or internships with integration and test of electrical systems is preferred. Experience in coding C++/MATLAB and/or writing basic assembly code preferred (e.g. STOL). Experience with using electrical lab equipment preferred. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
