Position Overview: As a Senior Systems&Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the company's infrastructure, systems, security and data communications. You will troubleshoot and resolve network–related issues and problems, and administer, install, and troubleshoot data and voice systems. You will also ensure the security of the company's systems and data. You will act as a mentor to other IT positions, such as Help Desk Technicians and Network Administrators, and share your expertise on systems, technology and security best practices and techniques. You will interface with internal and external customers and provide support in all areas of Infrastructure (Helpdesk). Some of your key responsibilities will be : Network Planning: Identify requirements, develop plans, and anticipate capacity needs. Plan and execute server installations and expansions ensuring compatibility, efficiency and scalability of the hyperconverged systems and Azure environment. Infrastructure Maintenance: Maintain and upgrade datacenters, cloud environments, workstations, networks, servers, databases, and backups using various technologies. Manage and support telephony and contact center systems. Cybersecurity: Implement best practices and manage security solutions. Provide and monitor remote access using VPN and MFA tools. Design, deploy, and maintain system security policies and infrastructure. System Maintenance: Perform updates and routine maintenance. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships. Handle confidential information or issues with discretion and judgement. Things we are looking for in a new team member: Qualifications&Skills: REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience Minimum of 8 years' networking experience with network/Infrastructure design, deployment, and maintenance. Minimum of 8 years project management experience. Minimum of 8 years' experience of Hypervisor experience with VMware (VXRail), AHV (Nutanix) and Hyper–V. Minimum of 8 years of strong knowledge of firewalls, system access and configuration, network security, and anti–virus products. Minimum of 8 years of strong knowledge of system performance and security methodologies and best practices. Expert level experience of Hypervisor experience with VMware, AHV (Nutanix) and Hyper–V Familiarity with Fortinet, Veeam, Knowbe4, CrowdStrike, VXRail, Nutanix, Azure, Application load balancing (A10, F5), and M365. Analytical approach to problem solving and ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and accurately. Ability to participate in on–call duties as needed. PREFERRED: Security related certifications, such as CompTIA Security, CISSP, CISM, Fortinet Solution Specialist, PCCSA, PCNSA, PCNSE, PCCSE, etc. Server related certifications, such as VMWare Certified PRO/ADVANCED, Nutanix Certified PRO, etc. Network related certifications, such as CompTIA Network, MCSE, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, VCP, etc. Cloud related certifications, such as MS Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking, etc. Comprehensive Benefits: Pay Range: $76,040 to $139,678 Medical, Dental, and Vision plans 401(k) plan with up to 5% match Employer sponsored LTD, life insurance, and AD&D Discretionary profit sharing and bonuses Fully subsidized ORCA card and/or free parking for Seattle employees Education Reimbursement On–Site Fitness Center (Seattle location only) Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the organization.
