About This Role Carrier is in the midst of a massive Digital Transformation -and our Digital Function is looking for a leader to define and champion our end-to-end digital workforce development strategy. This leader will manage our global intra-functional engagement initiatives and operationalize our workforce strategy via hiring efforts, culture and engagement programming, and our skills transformation. This position sits within our Digital function in our Digital Growth&Strategy team and will work in close partnership with our HRBPs and HR COEs. Ideally suited for a driven individual, this role affords significant exposure to cross-functional leadership, true opportunity to make an impact, and growth opportunities. Key programs and areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to: Workforce Strategy: Develop and execute strategic roadmap for next evolution of global Digital skills transformation, including hiring, training, and role-based learning opportunities. Lead cross-functional global Digital Talent Council to operationalize key Digital people programs. Build skills-based global hiring strategy in partnership with HR - and partner with Digital and HR leadership to achieve growth targets. Define and implement Digital competency matrix to identify next-gen Digital priority skills and fold these into our global talent programs. Revamp our Digital career ladders to create visibility into role progression and skill advancement. Manage Digital people analytics, including ownership over team roster, key metrics and milestones, and dashboards. Proactively analyze people data to define trends and spot opportunities for improvement relative to optimizing workforce composition. Partner with Digital operations, finance, and HR to lead global headcount tracking and leadership FTE budget targets Culture&Engagement: Support defining and executing key people programs to drive employee engagement and build a positive work environment. Curate leadership focus groups based on employee feedback surveys to glean key insights and opportunity areas. Launch and track our new talent rotational program to enable global cross-pollination. Training&Communications Identify Digital skill gaps and partner with our training team to develop upskilling programs to build muscle in these competencies. Tie upskilling priorities to engagement programming and career development conversations. Curate communications strategy to engage global workforce with key priorities. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 7 years of experience in strategy and operations, digital/technology consulting, workforce development, and/or communications strategy. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, English, Psychology. Strong understanding of digital technologies and their impact on talent management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
