Role and responsibilities The mission of Sr. Electron Optics Architect is to develop cutting-edge electron optics technology to enable the realization of the product roadmap. As an senior architect you will technically lead the specify, design, and implementation of the electron optics system for the most advanced e-beam wafer inspection and metrology system, and also work as an interface towards the electronics and the alignment and calibration of the SEM (scanning electron microscope). Education and experience PhD. in optics, electron optics, charged particle optics or other related area. Minimum 3 years of working experience in electron optics or charged particle optics related area Experienced in performance evaluation of the electron optics systems or charged particles systems Experienced in the theoretical design, implementation, integration and testing of electron optics equipment or charged particle equipment Skills Must have strong physics background and excellent track record in related technical area Proficient in data analysis Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite. Proficient in identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements. Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision. Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customers. Work according to a strict set of procedures within the provided timelines. Other information May need to travel domestically and internationally to other ASML sites and customer sites up to 20% of work time. Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus. Routinely required to work with computer. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. The current base annual salary range for this role is currently $202,125-$336,875. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
