This unit is a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry floor which focuses on pre- and post-surgical patients, with a focus on GI, Urology and ENT surgeries. The Surgical 3B unit offers the opportunity to learn and perfect critical nursing skills such as: Head to toe assessments Telemetry monitoring NG tubes IV insertions CBI's Chest tubes, Trach and ostomy care Drains Wound Care Available positions are as follows: Full-time Availability Part-time Availability PRN Availability Shift TBD Qualifications: Education: Graduate of a state approved professional nurse program. Licensure: Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing or current RN Missouri temporary work permit. Certifications: Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period.
