OVERVIEW Trident is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead and contribute on cross-functional teams to respond to new business requests. This includes directing and coordinating the activities of subject matter experts and technical authors to produce high-quality winning proposals on rapid timescales in a growing space electronics company. This role's primary responsibilities will be: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage the process to generate responses to requests from potential customers including but not limited to; requests for quotes (RFQ), requests for information (RFI), requests for Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, and requests for proposal (RFP) responses Lead multiple concurrent proposals, prioritizing resources and deadlines to ensure deadlines are met. In close collaboration with the capture manager, create and drive proposal schedules as required, and will work closely with the proposal team to maintain scheduled deliverables up to final proposal submittal Coordinate and lead major project meeting/gate events such as Bid/No-bid Meetings, Kick-off Meetings, Strategy Meetings, Pricing Reviews, and Executive Reviews Lead effective story-boarding and development of strategic win themes and discriminators Have the opportunity provide content creation of proposals, contributing to technical volumes, developing program schedules, contributing to cost volumes, and pricing. Support the capture manager in developing and reviewing Basis Of Estimates (BOEs) for proposal pricing; apply standard pricing to BOEs Coordinate the answers of Fact-Finding questions received from proposal recipients In collaboration with the Capture Manager, support the pursuit of market opportunities in aerospace markets Maintain business metrics in support of Trident’s business campaigns while driving for continuous improvement in the proposal process. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS&ABIILITIES Experience writing, evaluating, and/or managing wining proposals on 3-6 week timescales Strong technical acumen regarding space-based electronic systems. Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Demonstrated team leadership ability. Strong written and verbal skills Proficiency in MS Office Suite including MS Project, VISIO Proficiency in collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, etc. Excellent interpersonal skills Driven to achieve results, solve problems, and remove obstacles and drive continuous improvement. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification: Bachelors’ in Business Administration, Engineering, Communications or related filed. Prior Program Management experience is desired. Years of Experience: 5-7 years of proposal management/leadership. Clearance: None Required Role Type: Hybrid; expected to be onsite 50% of the time.
