Job Description Job Description USmax Corporation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to lead and manage the development of compelling proposals in response to both FedCiv and DoD solicitations, spanning professional and technical services and enterprise IT programs. The successful candidate will report to the VP IDIQ Programs and work directly with technical writers, subject matter experts, and senior leadership to ensure each proposal effectively communicates our solutions and services. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead and manage proposal lifecycle from initial solicitation review through submission, ensuring compliant, compelling, and timely response. Develop and integrate capture information, working closely with the capture manager. Develop proposal outlines compliant with solicitation requirements; guide the team in adhering to the outlines throughout the proposal development process. Establish and manage proposal calendars for multiple, concurrent proposals, ensuring that each step of the process from kick-off through Pink/Red/Gold Team reviews and final submission is executed on schedule. Coordinate teaming partner activities, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among all proposal contributors and stakeholders. Assist technical writing and editing as necessary, ensuring that proposal content is clear, concise, and persuasive. Oversee maintenance and continuous improvement of proposal artifacts, templates, and tools to streamline the proposal process and improve team efficiency. Maintain libraries of past performance references, proposal responses, and other relevant content for use in future proposals. Required Qualifications: Significant experience with Federal procurement process. Superior understanding of relevant regulations. Exceptional project management skills, with ability to manage concurrent proposals under tight deadlines. Expert writing and editing skills, including the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling proposal content. Interpersonal skills including ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization. Advanced MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Teams experience. Required Experience: At least five years of experience managing Federal proposals. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Engineering, or Business-related area. Security Clearance Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen for facility access. No clearance required. Work Location / Schedule: Fairfax, Virginia - hybrid schedule (2 days in office, 3 days remote). Travel Requirements: None.
