This position is required to work on-site 5 days a week. What we do: The Production Verification Technician is responsible for the inspection, assembly, repair and troubleshooting of aircraft avionics, electrical (high and low voltage), mechanical and instrumentation systems on rotorcraft in support of Test and Evaluation Programs. This position’s primary responsibility will be the inspection of received components and test asset assembly; secondary role will be to support the team in execution of these tasks. What you can do: Interface with Program&Project Leaders, Engineering, Safety, Quality Management, Procurement, Program Management Office, and Test organization members in support of the following responsibilities Inspect components as they are received in accordance with drawings, technical documentation and industry standards Perform detailed measurements utilizing various simple and complex measurement tools Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects, using signal generators, amp meters, and voltmeters and other measurement equipment Read and interpret various aircraft drawings, schematics reports or specifications. Utilization or various test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters electronic bridges, loop calibrators) and hand tools Completes all written and electronic records (work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in progress and as it is completed Work directly engineering and operations to resolve problems Must maintain a clean working environment at all times Must be familiar with standard and non-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the aviation field Performs build-up and maintenance of test articles, ensuring that quality objectives, configuration control, and conformity requirements are met May require up to 10% of international and domestic travel Other duties as assigned What you can contribute: Minimum GED or HS diploma required; college degree preferred Minimum five (5) years experience as an aviation technician; minimum three (3) years quality assurance experience (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints Proficiency with MS Office Suite Willing to Travel You may also be able to contribute: Rotorcraft experience preferred Experimental flight test experience preferred Airframe and power plant license preferred Base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
