Must have Nuclear AOV tech experience. Responsible for performing functional post maintenance testing, diagnostic testing and calibrations of Air Operated Valves (AOV's). Job Requirements COMPETENCIES: Design: Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Building and Construction: Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of vessels. Mechanical: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with three years' experience in diagnostic testing as well as AOV actuator/valve maintenance is required. A U.S. Navy nuclear background is highly desirable. Must be able to pass a practical and written examination as determined by contractor or client. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required. Must effectively work with a variety of personnel including external customers and clients, and internal personnel.
