Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative Contract Duration: 2 Months Pay range: $18 to 21/hr Location: New Britain, CT Job Type: Onsite, 1st shift/ variable Job Description: Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented individual looking to make a positive impact on people's lives? Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join their team. As a PSR I, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring accurate specimen collection. Key Responsibilities: Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and create a comfortable and trusting environment. Specimen Collection: Draw blood samples accurately and efficiently, following established protocols. Data Entry: Maintain accurate records and documentation. Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum 6 months of relevant experience; 1 years preferred. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric patients. Strong customer service skills. Proficiency in keyboard/data entry. Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
