Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative Contract Duration: 3 Months Location: Grapevine, TX Work Type: Onsite, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm About the Role: As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative II, you will be the face of our company, interacting with patients during routine health checks and life-changing health decisions. Your primary responsibilities include: Patient Interaction: Building rapport with patients, explaining procedures, and ensuring a comfortable and confident experience. Phlebotomy: Drawing blood samples accurately and efficiently, following established protocols. Specimen Preparation: Preparing blood specimens for laboratory testing. Administrative Tasks: Maintaining accurate records and documentation. Key Responsibilities: Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric. Adhere to strict safety and infection control guidelines. Process and label blood specimens accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide excellent customer service and address patient concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations. Maintain confidentiality of patient information. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections. Minimum 2 years of experience in a patient service center environment. Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively. Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
