Our client, growing patent law firm is seeking a talented Patent Secretary Floater to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities: Review and prepare client and general correspondence Prepare and file new patent applications and formalities documents (e.g., Powers of Attorney, Declarations, Assignments, Information Disclosure Statements) Create reports in Excel and other programs Monitor USPTO deadlines, client deadlines, and attorney calendars to ensure timely action Interpret and follow special client instructions Interact effectively with staff at all levels Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of two years of IP experience Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel Ability to work independently and as part of a team Typing speed of 50 wpm Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to work with a talented team of legal professionals Remote work environment after initial training period (must reside in the DC area) Company Description Bonnie Jones Associates, L.L.C. is your source for finding and filling permanent financial, accounting, administrative, legal, executive assistant, accounting and HR positions.
