Knowledge: Has demonstrable, deep expertise in one or more commercial-grade Trade Order Management Systems. Should understand key functions for: Portfolio Construction Trading Compliance Middle Office Should understand the construction of the database, how trades and block orders move through the system, basic table construction and interoperability. Skills: Project Management Capabilities: Create a workable project plan with milestones, dependencies, and resources Identify workstreams within the project plan Articulate deliverables Assess needed resources; match resource to needs Manage deliverables within a sprint Analytical Skills: Requirements Gathering/Workflow analysis Requirements Delivery Problem-solving skills Presentation Skills: Ability to deliver clear messages Explain complex issues and articulate solutions Help clients make good decisions Coaching Skills: Identify gaps in team performance and understanding Create plans to close gaps and improve performance Encourage and support team members QA/Testing: Ensure robust testing within projects Create achievable test plans Ensure testing is auditable and repeatable Experience: Minimum of 3 Complete Implementations in a lead role for firms with a minimum of $20B AUM and at least one firm with AUM>$200B. Minimum of 7 years of directly-related experience and 10 years of industry experience. Candidate should have industry contacts that support his/her level of industry experience. Responsibilities: Manage and grow the OMS practice and deliver consulting services. Accurately assess what clients need Manage Complex Projects with Multiple Streams Drive projects to produce desired outcomes Identify problems/blockers and coach clients and teams through to resolution Grow the practice in accordance with company goals: Establish IMP as a trusted partner with clients by delivering consistently outstanding service. Expand contacts throughout the client organization; Land additional projects at current clients; Demonstrate industry thought leadership: Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends. Build personal credentials and demonstrate expertise by completing speaking engagements each quarter, with at least one external (e.g. industry conference). Share knowledge with the team.
