Emergency Department LPN, Rapid City SD Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Variable Compensation: Weekly Gross Pay: $1,900 Taxed: $540 weekly Stipend: $1,360 weekly Requirements: Experience: Minimum of 2 years as an LPN in any acute care setting (Medical, Behavioral Health, PCU, etc.). Candidates with 1.5 years of ED experience (excluding travel) may be submitted for management review. Strong ability to manage high-acuity trauma cases. Department Details: Trauma Population: Level 2 Trauma Center with a heavy trauma load, particularly in the summer months. Common cases include stab wounds, GSWs (gunshot wounds), MVCs (motor vehicle collisions), drownings, and falls. LPN Patient Ratio: 1:4-5 Role Responsibilities: Primary Focus: Provide care for behavioral health patients. Secondary Duties: Float through the Emergency Department, assisting with tasks within the LPN scope of practice.
