Position: Long-Term Substitute High School Art Teacher Location: Chelmsford High School Assignment Dates: October 22, 2024, through January 21, 2025 (dates are subject to change) General Description: Teach students in academic, social and manipulative skills, working within assigned subject areas to provide optimum student services in accordance with the objectives established by the School Committee. Coordinate efforts with specialists assigned to provide additional specific services. Confer with parents to promote better understanding of the pupil and his/her environment. Assist and guide ancillary personnel. Attend meetings and prepare and maintain all related records and reports reflecting activities as required or directed. Perform other duties as directed or as responsibilities necessitate. Performance Responsibilities: Teach a range of studio and digital art classes Administer lessons that adhere to the CPS Visual Arts Curriculum Fulfill professional responsibilities such as assessing students regularly and participating in building and department meetings Position Type: Full-time Positions Available: 1 Job Requirements Qualifications: State Licensure as Visual Arts Teacher Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent with major in art.
