This 48-hour per pay period 10 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. position is eligible for a $1.60 per hour shift differential. A sign-on bonus of up to $4,500 is available for LPN positions Bonus recipients must commit to continuous employment in an eligible position for twelve months. Please note that current University of Vermont Health Network employees are excluded from eligibility for this bonus. A relocation bonus is available for eligible candidates. Job Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be accountable and responsible for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other health care provider. The Licensed Practical Nurse shall be responsible for: Monitoring that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision; Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services. Requirements: Currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in New York State. Practices within the guidelines of the New York State Practice Act. One year of experience is required. Must have computer skills.
