Outpatient Imaging - North Bethesda Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Lead Radiologic Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging Services in Rockville, MD. Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. (Current AHC employees not eligible – see below under additional details.) As a Lead Rad Tech you will: Promote department morale, provides a supportive work environment and seeks personal growth opportunities Consistently ensure that the diagnostic radiology staff is providing high quality, compassionate and courteous customer service Ensure staff is consistently producing high quality images to provide physicians with accurate data and maintains the Diagnostic Radiology department in a state of survey readiness Demonstrate cost effectiveness in the use of resources, supplies, and equipment as well as time management Contribute resources for community education while ensuring adequate staffing to accommodate department and community needs Conduct oneself in a manner that supports the hospital’s mission and is respectful of cultural, ethnic, and spiritual diversity Qualifications include: High school diploma or GED required Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography 3 years’ experience in Diagnostic Radiology Supervisory experience preferred ARRT registered (RT); ARRT Advanced Certification, (QA) preferred State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required High level of technical aptitude Strong customer service skills Ability to work independently and handle a multi-task environment Basic PC skills such as Windows Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Able to rotate to all OP Imaging sites; DEXA experience preferred. Pay Range: $39.96 - $59.94. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
