Position Overview Under general supervision of the Deputy Chief People Officer, the Labor Relations Associate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Labor Relations team. The role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within the department, facilitating effective communication, and maintaining accurate records. Job Description Assist in the preparation, distribution and filing of labor relations documentation and correspondence. Schedule and coordinate meeting, hearings, and other events related to labor relations activities. Maintain and update labor relations databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, directing inquiries to appropriate internal and external parties. Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials as needed to support labor relations initiatives. Assist in the research and compilation of data for grievances, disciplinary matters, and all other labor relations matters. Provide administrative supports during hearings and labor management meetings, including note taking, document preparation and logistical arrangements. Monitor and track deadlines related to labor relations activities. Maintain up to date knowledge of company policies, collective bargaining agreements, labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Labor and Employee Relations Business Partners, Deputy Chief People Officer, or the Chief People Officer. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree required; and 1 year of experience in the field of labor relations including negotiation and administration of agreements of labor relations matters; or, An equivalent combination of education, training and experience, knowledge and skills sufficient to indicate ability to perform satisfactorily.
