We’re looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide exceptional on-site technical support for our clients in the Boston area, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure a seamless IT experience. About the Role As an IT Support Engineer, you’ll be the first line of defense for our clients, solving issues on the spot and delivering fast, efficient support. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, values excellent customer service, and wants to grow in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Responsibilities Provide on-site technical support in Boston to resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Respond to client support requests, prioritize tasks, and ensure prompt resolution. Document issues, solutions, and work completed in our ticketing system. Assist with setting up new workstations and user accounts for smooth onboarding. Ensure all systems and devices meet security and compliance standards. Collaborate with remote IT teams for complex troubleshooting and escalation. Maintain a positive, professional relationship with clients, ensuring high-quality service. Qualifications 1-3 years of IT support experience, preferably in a client-focused setting. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and general networking. Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and basic network configurations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective on-site support. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. CompTIA A or similar certification is a plus but not required.
