Who We Are: Network Telecommunications Services: Responsible for connectivity and communications needs for the Institute. This includes network administration of routing, switching, unified communications, wireless and ISP connectivity. In addition, we manage AV operations and the telecom infrastructure inside/outside plant. Objectives of this Role: Handle centralized wired network management. Administer packet brokering systems. Cross-train into other network disciplines. Daily and Monthly Responsibilities: Configuration of routing and switching on network equipment from various manufacturers. Configuration of packet brokering systems for network monitoring and reporting. Documentation of network through drawings, formal documentation and change control process. Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related degree field with relevant experience. Preferred Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate or higher, Aruba Certified Switching Associate or higher, Netscout Certified Associate or higher 3 years: Enterprise network routing and switching. 1 years: Packet brokering system administration. Experience with Fortinet, Cisco or Aruba wired network equipment and Netscout packet brokering strongly desired. 10 years: In lieu of Bachelors Degree, minimum 10 years directly related professional level network administrator experience with a minimum of Cisco Certified Network Professional or Aruba Certified Professional certification A valid/clear driver's license is required.
