We are looking for a passionate and experienced HR&Payroll Manager to join our collaborative and dynamic team. Your Role As the HR&Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our firm’s growth by managing HR functions with a focus on exceptional service and clear communication. You’ll oversee everything from payroll administration to recruitment, employee benefits, and HR policy development. Key responsibilities include: Payroll Administration : Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, working closely with the finance team to maintain compliance with tax and labor laws. Recruitment&Onboarding : Manage the recruitment process from job postings to candidate screening, interviews, and seamless onboarding of new hires. Employee Relations : Be the go-to point of contact for employee inquiries, conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work culture that aligns with our core values. Compliance&Policy Management : Ensure the firm’s compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Keep our Employee Handbook up to date and ensure policies are effectively communicated to all staff. Benefits Administration : Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other firm-sponsored benefits, and assist employees with any related questions. Performance&Development : Assist with performance review processes, provide guidance to managers, and help identify opportunities for staff development and training. Data-Driven HR : Track key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, employee satisfaction) and provide management with reports to guide strategic decision-making. Who We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of HR experience , preferably within a law firm or professional services environment. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills . Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Proficiency with technology, including HR software, Microsoft Office Suite , and related tools. Certification from SHRM, PHR, or another relevant organization is a plus.
