About Schneider Digital All IT needs for SE are managed by a group called Schneider Digital (SD); spread across 303 locations in 60 countries with over 2300 staff; along with various engagements with all major Global IT Service Providers. You will be part of the dynamic Schneider Digital – HR Technology team whose mission is to “Create digital workplace of the future&Enable HR to build workforce of the future”. Within this team, you will be part of the Core HCM solutions team to oversee the effective utilization, and continuous improvement of the Core HCM platform in areas of Workforce Administration, Workforce Management, and payroll. Role mission In a HCM Technology Manager, we are looking for a candidate who showcases leadership qualities and is enthusiastic about driving efficiency, fostering an innovation culture in software development lifecycle practices within the Core HR system and other application ecosystem. You will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational efficiency of the HCM platform deployed in Schneider Electric. You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and innovation of our systems, ensuring they align with our business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our employees worldwide. Our team is committed to driving continuous improvement through various programs and initiatives. We focus on: Technical platform ownership of Workforce Administration, Time&Absence and Payroll modules within the Core HCM solution. Strategic alignment on the technology solutions deployed across the business units for the above modules. Technology solutioning, technical evaluations of best of the breed solutions available on the market. Main responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies and digital solutions that can enhance the digital capabilities. Partnering with Business teams to define and manage the global digital portfolio for Payroll under Human Capital Management, including the selection, prioritization, and implementation of digital initiatives. Thinking big picture to analyze beyond the immediate solution and identify all impacts and risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Digital security, Regional HR and IT teams, product management, and operations teams, to ensure delivering digital initiatives. Delivering successful project management, coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Providing authoritative guidance in the resolution of complex problems or issues related to critical activities for the organization: Strategic, Projects, Operations. Managing regular executive meetings including, but not limited to, setting the agenda, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations and tracking follow through to increase accountability. Supporting actively in, ownership and oversight of strategic initiatives, data gathering and consolidation requests, and ad hoc or special projects as needed. Maintaining a consistent communication and socialization plan to ensure all stakeholders have the most up to date information. Providing oversight regarding the development and implementation of measuring, reporting, and supporting ongoing decision-making services: KPIs, SLAs: Programs | Initiatives | Operations | Vendors. Manage vendor partnerships and contracts, review and find opportunities to improve services, reduce costs. Providing support and leadership for many of the activities intended to set strategic direction and maintain alignment within the business: Leadership Workshops, Stakeholder Engagement Workshops, Regional Engagements. Manage capacity forecast&Planning, skill forecast&development to effectively manage allocations&report financials. Stay current on digital trends and advancements, evaluate the potential impact of new technologies on the capability's digital services. Qualifications: Skills and experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA in Information technology preferred. 10 years of experience in HR technology management or leadership role. Deep knowledge of HCM cloud solution architecture, configuration, customization, security, integration, reporting, and testing methodologies and tools. 8 years of experience architecting, designing, and/or delivering scalable solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in technology projects. Proven expertise in implementing and supporting application systems, Analytical systems, performance management systems, compensation or total rewards systems. Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities. Finance and budgeting experience for projects and programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with users, professionals, and IT teams. Experience in engaging, influencing, and driving initiatives by partnering with technology executives. Must have experience in direct and extended team people management. Experience mentoring software engineers or architects. Desired/Preferred to have: Experience with specific HR technology platforms with Payroll expertise (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM etc). Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in HR technology. Experience in at least one technology migration or implementation of Core HCM solution in a large organization.
