About TotalEnergies Renewables International (TTE-RI): TERI operates in a strong growth and highly competitive environment. TERI maintains a high growth rate, both organic and by acquisitions, on a global geographical scope, often relying on tight schedule complex transactions with high financial, legal and execution stakes. These stakes require permanent coordination with business entities, the Branch and Company. This is a skilled position for providing financial management including managing incoming and outgoing accounting flows and ensuring effective internal controls and management information systems are developed and maintained during construction and operations of the project. Key Responsibilities: Reports to the Finance and Corporate Affairs Manager and supports the Project Manager. Support activities for the best operation of a business. Scope ranges from contact with external entities on behalf of the Project Owner to the conversion of operational data into useful and understandable financial information. Bookkeeping and administration. Establishing accounting procedures to manage incoming and outgoing accounting flows. Ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place. Monitoring cost streams and comparing them to a budget. Lender reporting - ensure obligations to lenders relating to operations reporting and any other requirements are complied with. Ensure compliance with finance documents (facilities agreement, etc.). Liaison with NERSA, ESKOM, Lenders, Municipalities, IPP Office, Off-taker/Buyer, and other project stakeholders. Liaison with CIPC, SARS, COIDA, B-BBEE stakeholders. Ensure company adopts&implements board of director’s company strategy and decisions made at board meetings. Corporate administrative services. Suppliers and vendor account management. Manage and support the social investment program including meeting each asset's Enterprise Development and Socio-Economic Development obligations. Manage Green Rights/Carbon Credits. Insurance management. Equity/debt financing management. Tax preparation, filing, and administration. General Financial Management Tasks (non-exhaustive): Budget preparation, ensuring expenditures are within authorized annual budget. Cash flow management. Approval of payments/invoicing, affecting monthly payments. Ensure debt covenants are below accepted levels. Previous experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPPP) Project Bidding, Award to Financial Close, Construction, and Operations. Chartered accountant (CA) (or similar qualification) with advanced project finance knowledge. Minimum 5 - 8 years’ experience in an infrastructure asset management environment. Knowledge and application of relevant compliance requirements with complex contractual entities. Ability to forecast the financial impact of specific technical interventions (preventive or corrective) on the assets. Ability to interpret and update financial models. Knowledge of legislative and regulatory changes that might have a financial impact on the Asset Owner. Detail oriented, with an ability to establish and follow processes. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Drivers license. Proven work experience as a financial accountant or similar role. In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures. Solid knowledge of accounting regulations. Excellent math skills with attention to detail. Time management abilities. Confidentiality.
