Apply today Job Description Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architecture to lead the Enterprise Architect team within the Information Technology (IT) Department.?You will improve current IT infrastructure, optimize?business operations for efficiency, and set the direction for integrating information technology throughout the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). Join our Enterprise Architecture team dedicated to delivering exceptional value and solutions to the business and put your enterprise architecture skills to work Primary duties include, but are not limited to: Establishes overall systems architecture vision and ensures specific components are appropriately designed and leveraged; contributes to the holistic vision of Enterprise Architecture. Recommends new technologies based upon business value drivers and return on investment; drives new technologies towards implementation. Coordinates all enterprise-level conceptual architecture components (e.g., data architecture, application architecture, technical architecture). Monitors usage of architectural components and assumes responsibility for reuse. Drives system migration based upon roadmaps defined in enterprise and domain blueprints. Ensures blueprints are refreshed as needs emerge or in accordance to plan of record changes. Functional and technical lead for Enterprise Architecture tools Provides continuous consulting services and direction in projects and architectures. Champions and responsible for enterprise level technology and architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills Experience establishing key architecture standards, tools, best practices, and methodologies to?meet?the Company's target state and enable its architecture evolution and alignment across the organization. Experience addressing both technical and business requirements. Experience training and mentoring individuals. Experience in more than one technical discipline (e.g. Networking, Cloud Technology, Applications Development). Experience designing solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards/processes.? Experience analyzing business requirements and processes for process improvement against current available technical solutions, while identifying technical impacts and potentially new technical solutions. Knowledge of cloud architecture, platform and software as a service architecture and products. Excellent written and oral communications skills (e.g., ability to generate and present briefings?to key stakeholders, articulate technology solutions, etc.) .?
