Job Description Job Description Site Director Distribution Center Leadership Position Description: The Site Director is part of the leadership team of the Distribution Center (DC) and reports directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain. The Sight Director will lead the DC team to oversee the successful operation of the entire site. This is a people and process leadership role that is instrumental to the success of the overall Supply Chain segment of company. In this role, the Site Director will ensure day to day operations of the DC are managed appropriately to achieve success in delivering on our client’s SLA’s including inbound, outbound, inventory control, quality assurance, and kitting operations. Duties and Responsibilities: · Report directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain and perform all duties and responsibilities assigned. · Lead daily production meetings for DC leadership to ensure priorities and responsibilities are planned and executed to meet client SLA’s. · Communicate effectively with senior supply chain leadership as well as client services and customer services internal partners. · Conduct daily GEMBA walks to ensure subordinate leadership is executing operations to plan. · Generate reports as deemed appropriate by leadership and CS teams. · Conduct monthly MBR sessions with internal partners and stakeholders to communicate DC performance and receive feedback and guidance on priorities for the clients we serve. Requirements: · Minimum of 5 years DC management experience. · Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in a warehouse environment. · Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. · Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with an emphasis on excel . · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Ability to be flexible with work schedules as demand and volume dictate.
