Job Description Job Title : Product Lifecycle Solution Lead Location : Cambridge, MA About the role: As a Product Lifecycle Solution Lead, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to the analysis, definition of requirements, design and delivery of Digital Platforms and IT solutions to support the life cycle management of Takeda commercial products in the manufacturing environment (Manufacturing Science) including products transition from late-stage development (R&D/Pharmaceutical Sciences). You will also manage global project to deploy Digital and IT solutions in your domain of activity. You will report to the Head of Manufacturing Intelligence. How you will contribute: Manage and influence technical analysis, design, development maintenance and configuration of complex and non-routine solutions according to Takeda standards for complex business requirements. Organize maintenance, support and change management processes linked to solutions in place. Use broad knowledge of information technology and consults with suppliers and various Takeda groups to enhance business solutions and make sure they are aligned with the Technology standards. Work with the Head of Manufacturing Intelligence and business stakeholders for creating Digital and IT roadmaps for complex business solutions and/or systems platforms. Define projects budget/scope/timing with business stakeholders, manages their approval and Agile / waterfall execution according to plan. Monitor project progress and performance metrics. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Organize solutions support activities with Application Support, vendors and Takeda Innovation Competency Centers (ICC). Make recommendations for new systems and technologies by using deep understanding of industry trends, business solutions, Digital roadmaps and strategic plans. Oversee the impact of user enhancement requests to support one or more business solutions and investigate these problems/system requirements. Apply System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) to solutions and leads others to work accordingly. Ensure execution and documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Digital, Data and Technology Project Life Cycle (ITPLC) standards, policies and procedures. Own, maintains and influences technical relationships with vendors in support of projects and ongoing operations. May lead a team in the future but many dotted lines to internal and external resources. What you bring to Takeda: Educational Background: Master's degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology or similar domains. Experience: Minimum of 10 to 15 years in relevant business and technical roles in Pharma or Chemical industry. Expertise in Agile methodologies, digital technology, and data analytics. Experience with digital technologies applied to manufacturing processes. Analytical skills to map data flows and business / manufacturing processes. Leadership: cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects. Develop long-term strategies and align them with business goals. Experience in people management would be ideal. Familiarity with pharma regulated systems – high-level understanding of computer systems validation would be ideal. Access to transportation to attend meetings. Fly to meetings regionally and globally (Americas/Asia/Europe). Important Considerations At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. In this role, you may: May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily. This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hair nets and gloves and hearing protection. Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment. Work in a cold, wet environment. Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary. Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
