Position - CNA Location - Crescent City, CA 95531 Contract Duration - 13 weeks Shift - Day, Evening Shift Note - 40 hours per week 8 hours per day Pay Package: Local Rate: $46 /hr on W2. (without benefits) Travel Rate: $25/hr on W2 $1000(Weekly non taxable stipend) Weekly Gross: $2000 Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medication management. Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and promote patient safety. Assist in the care of patients with critical care needs, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Support patients with developmental disabilities by providing tailored care and assistance. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Skills Proficient in medical terminology and understanding of physiology. Experience working in critical care environments or Level I Trauma Centers is preferred. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and medication administration protocols. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and team members. Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is advantageous.
