Cerebrovascular/CNS Endovascular Neurosurgeon Position title: Cerebrovascular/CNS Endovascular Neurosurgeon Salary range: The salary range for this position is $173,000 - $457,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan (https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnelprograms/files/apm/apm-670.pdf), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation beyond this base salary. Position description: Full-time Assistant, Associate or Full Professor faculty position in Neurosurgery at UCLA. The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles is seeking a dual-trained neurosurgeon with focus and expertise in open cerebrovascular and CNS endovascular neurosurgery. Candidates will be expected to develop and maintain a clinical practice in general and cerebrovascular neurosurgery and teach residents at UCLA Health and its affiliated hospitals. Successful candidates must have an MD, be ABNS board eligible/certified in neurosurgery; have experience and excellence in general neurosurgery and neurovascular surgery with a specific dedicated interest in the comprehensive management of neurovascular disease, including micro-neurosurgical and endovascular techniques; and have completed fellowship training in neurovascular disease (specifically CAST-accredited neuroendovascular fellowship training is required). Candidate must have or be eligible for a California medical license. Additionally, candidates should have clinical, translational and/or basic science research experience, as well as outstanding references. An expectation for this faculty position includes development of novel research interests in the field of cerebrovascular disease and independent NIH funding consistent with top-tier academic programs. Compensation and academic rank will be commensurate with experience.
