Position Overview Position Title: Lecturer Salary Range: Annual Salary Range $66,259-$186,466. Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Position Description The Department of Art at UCLA is creating a pool of applicants for potential temporary part-time teaching positions in various variable topics/proposal-based courses for the 2024-25 academic year. These courses include: Art 132 Undergraduate Survey of Critical Thought: Overview of premodern, modern, and postmodern theory as reflected in critical writing and artistic frameworks from late 19th century to present. Art 276 Graduate Group Critique: Critique discussions of student work within an open group setting. Art C280 Graduate Seminar: Advanced topics in critical theory and study of contemporary art. Specific topics may vary. Salary: Rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is represented by the University Council - American Federation of Teachers.
