Description _Summary:_ A professional who plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates patient care activities. Heshe has clinical andor functional knowledge of the position for which they are accountable either directly or indirectly through delegation of tasks. Incumbent is accountable to the Administrative Team. Collaborates with other Clinical Associates to meet individual needs using communication and available resources to promote quality, cost effective care _Responsibilities:_ The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant reports directly to the department manager andor hisher designee with clinical supervision provided by a licensed occupational therapist Responsible for utilization and supervision of volunteers, students, and support staff relating to the provision of occupational therapy services The occupational therapist is responsible for interpretationimplementation of physician orders, provision of safe care to customers, protection of confidential information, professional communication, economic use of timeresources, and creation of a positive worktherapy environment Knowledgeable of the principles and practice of occupational therapy Perform the technical skills of the certified occupational therapy assistant and be competent to operate the equipment utilized in hisher professional area Ability to write and speak in a professional and intelligent manner and must demonstrate supervisionmanagement skills Willing to assume additional responsibilities as requested _Requirements:_ Associate Degree OTA Lic in state of employment BLS _Work Type:_ Full Time EEO is the law - click below for more information: We endeavor to make this site accessible to any and all users.
