This position is designed for individuals who thrive in energetic, enthusiastic environments. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of our pediatric care center in Charleston, ensuring accurate patient care under the supervision of a physician. Your day will involve a dynamic mix of clinical and administrative tasks, from rooming patients and taking vitals to documenting health histories in electronic medical records.
You will be the bridge between the patient and the physician, assisting with minor procedures, administering injections, and preparing patients for exams. The role requires you to maintain a clean and safe patient care environment, manage exam room supplies, and ensure the timely flow of patients through the clinic. You will also be responsible for triaging phone calls, communicating care plans, and providing patient education on treatments and medications.
