We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as clinical and administrative support for our Employee Health and Well-Being Center. This position is vital to maintaining the operational flow of our onsite medical center, providing essential support to the employee health clinician under the supervision of the EHWC Site Nurse Practitioner or the EHMG Practice Administrator.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employees entering the clinic, managing front desk reception duties, data entry, and the retrieval of medical charts. Your day will involve preparing employees for examinations by recording vital signs and assisting with patient readiness, while also performing delegated clinical tasks such as blood draws, vaccinations, and EKGs. You will ensure the accuracy of registration, insurance verification, and coding within our electronic health records, and maintain strict lab compliance by documenting all required quality assurance measures. Additionally, you will prepare utilization and satisfaction reports for program leadership, ensuring our data reflects the needs of our community.
