We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as clinical and administrative support for our Employee Health and Well-Being Center. In this role, you will perform delegated medical assistant tasks under the supervision of the EHWC Site Nurse Practitioner or the EHMG Practice Administrator.
You will be the first point of contact for employees entering the clinic, managing front desk receptionist responsibilities such as data entry, chart retrieval, and phone support. Your day will involve maintaining accurate schedules and medical records, ensuring precise registration and insurance verification, and preparing employees for examinations by recording vital signs and assisting with gowning. Additionally, you will perform clinical tasks including blood draws, vaccinations, and EKGs under clinical direction, while ensuring strict lab compliance and quality assurance measures.
