Our Employee Health and Well-Being Center is designed to support our greatest asset: our employees. We offer onsite medical centers providing wellness visits and sick care for all employees over 18 years of age, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion built on our core values, vision, and mission.
We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to serve as clinical and administrative support for our Employee Health and Well-Being Center. In this role, you will perform delegated medical assistant tasks under the supervision of the EHWC Site Nurse Practitioner or the EHMG Practice Administrator.
You will be the first point of contact for employees entering the clinic, managing front desk receptionist responsibilities such as data entry, filing, retrieving medical charts, and answering phones. Your day will involve maintaining accurate schedules and medical records, ensuring the precision of registration, insurance verification, and coding within our electronic health record system.
Clinically, you will prepare employees for examinations by recording vital signs and assisting with patient positioning. You will also perform blood draws, tests, vaccinations, and EKGs under the direction of the supervising clinician. Additionally, you will play a key role in lab compliance by recording all required data, including temperature logs and documentation of point-of-care tests, to ensure adherence to quality assurance measures.
