About the Role

HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Junior BI Developer/Analyst to work out of Fairfax, VA, in support of the DoD/DoW Advana War Data Platform. This platform is designed to aggregate operational, intelligence, logistics, and sensor data from multiple domains, enabling Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) by providing a common data fabric, and supporting AI/ML applications for predictive analytics, targeting, and mission planning.

In this role, you will partner with data engineering and mission users to ensure the integrity and usability of critical defense data. You will develop business intelligence components by preparing structured datasets, building baseline dashboards, and conducting routine analytic validation across Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret enclaves. Your work will directly strengthen mission readiness through disciplined data hygiene and the delivery of accurate visual products for operational decision-making.

You will write SQL queries and data preparation scripts to support reporting requirements, implement visualization elements to depict operational metrics, and perform data profiling activities to ensure schema alignment and data quality. Additionally, you will assist in documenting replication issues, maintaining knowledge articles, and contributing to customer-support interactions by gathering requirements and demonstrating dashboards to refine reporting products.
