The Aquatics Director serves as the face of the YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids' aquatic programs, responsible for the day-to-day operations that ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for children and adults. As a leader in the field, the Director provides face-to-face leadership, requiring a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The position blends operational management with hands-on instruction, ensuring that every participant has a positive experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and facility care.
