Dell Medical School, in conjunction with Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas (DCMCCT), is seeking Physician Assistants with cardiac critical care credentials to join the Texas Center for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Disease. Our mission is to serve the growing need of the regional pediatric population by delivering world-class pediatric cardiac critical care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.
As a key member of our cardiac critical care unit, you will work directly with physicians and other care providers to manage complex congenital and acquired heart disease in children. Your day will involve obtaining patient histories, performing comprehensive assessments, and ordering diagnostic studies to guide treatment. You will provide direct treatment and management of cardiac critical care conditions, engage in discharge planning, and counsel patients and families on health conditions, treatment options, and community resources. Additionally, you will play a vital role in the education and orientation of staff and students, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
